Great Lakes Regional Field Hockey is growing! We are excited to introduce Jessie Veith Rouleau as our team’s Public Relations Specialist. Jessie is a seasoned writer and communications consultant with over five years of experience in content writing, audience engagement, and growth strategy. Jessie’s passion for field hockey spans 30 years, starting in Oak Park, IL where she first discovered her love of the game at age 11. At Oak Park and River Forest High School, Jessie was selected to IHSFHA’s All-State team three times and tallied two State Championship titles. Through the USA Field Hockey Futures program & Windy City club field hockey, Jessie participated in multiple National Futures Tournaments and was selected for Junior Olympics before deciding to continue her field hockey development at the University of Michigan (1998-2002), where she had the honor of captaining the 2001 National Championship Team.
Today, Jessie is the Varsity Coach at Grosse Pointe South High School where her team earned the Division 2 Championship Title in 2021. She is also the Field Hockey Youth Supervisor at the Neighborhood Club of Grosse Pointe and sits on the board of the Michigan Chapter of USA Field Hockey, as Secretary.
