Mo is a two-time All-American field hockey player, graduating from Williams College in 1990. She was the Purple Key Trophy recipient awarded to one senior female athlete who best exemplifies leadership, team spirit, ability and character. After graduation, Mo went on to accept a graduate assistantship at Tufts University ('90-'92), where she earned her Masters in Education while taking on the roles of assistant field hockey coach and women's lacrosse coach. From there, Mo accepted the Head Field Hockey and Lacrosse coaching positions at Bowdoin College ('92-'96), posting an impressive field hockey 48-16 record, and winning the 1995 ECAC Championship. From 1996-1999 Mo continued her coaching career at Rye Country Day School, and then in 2000, she accepted her current position as Head Varsity Coach at Darien High School (Darien, CT). Her successes at Darien High School are numerous: FCIAC Coach of the Year 2003, 2007, 2008; CHSCA Coach of the year 2003, 2008; FCIAC Fall Sports Coach of the Year 2007; Outstanding Coach of the Year in CT 2009; NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year 2010; NFHCA National Coach of the Year 2010; Fairfield County Sportsperson of the Year 2011; NFHCA Southern NE Coach of the Year 2013, CT High School Hall of Fame inductee 2014; FCIAC Coaching Hall of Fame inductee 2016; New Agenda - Northeast Hall of Fame 2018.
